Shared Stories is the in-house rights agency of the Dutch Veen Bosch & Keuning Publishing Group, representing publishing houses as Ambo|Anthos, Atlas Contact, Luitingh-Sijthoff, Houtekiet, De Fontein, Kosmos, Van Dale, Ten Have, Kok & AnkhHermes. Since 2013, Shared Stories handles the translation rights, as well as the tv, film and stage rights of Dutch and Flemish authors such as Herman Koch, Geert Mak, Dimitri Verhulst, Eline Snel, Bert Wagendorp, Esther Verhoef, Dick Swaab and many others. A good story can be told in many ways and we like to share them in all possible shapes.
Since 14 September 2013, Shared Stories has been up and running in its premises at Herengracht 418 in Amsterdam. With a firm focus on rights sales, we have embarked on an adventure that is entirely consistent with the entrepreneurial spirit of the publishers it represents.

Dorien van Londen is managing director of Shared Stories. She is also the first contact for information on film rights.
Hayo Deinum has joined Shared Stories in July 2014 as rights manager for Atlas Contact publishers, taking with him his ample experience of 15 years of rights management at publishing house De Bezige Bij.
Christel Meijer is rights manager for Ambo Anthos publisher, where she worked before on the contract and rights department.
Julia Foldenyi is rights manager for fiction- and non-fiction publishers AnkhHermes, De Fontein, Kok, Kosmos, Ten Have (VBK Media), Houtekiet and Luitingh-Sijthoff. She was acquisition and rights manager at Scolar Publishing, Hungary.
Bianca van Wijngaarden is junior foreign rights manager, representing all publishers.
