Martin Hendriksma (1966) is a writer and journalist. Two of his previous books were adapted into plays, both of which received glowing reviews. Additionally, two of his non-fiction works were turned into television series, which he also hosted. After four successful non-fiction books, including The Rhine (over 10,000 copies sold) and The Secret of Bols (9,000 copies sold), he returns as a novelist. Hendriksma’s debut novel Family Meat was longlisted for the Libris Literature Award 2009.
