Maarten Meijer

Maarten Meijer (1958) studied philosophy in New York and Russian literature in Moscow. He currently resides in South Korea, where he teaches philosophy and ethics at an international school. He also works as a writer, football commentator and social critic. Meijer has previously authored books about Guus Hiddink, Dick Advocaat, Louis van Gaal, Erik ten Hag, Virgil van Dijk, and Arne Slot, most of which have also been translated.
