Mathijs Deen

Mathijs Deen (1962) is a writer and radio producer. His collection of short stories Brutus Is Hungry was nominated for the AKO Literature Prize and his novella The Lightship for the Libris Literature Prize. In 2013, he published the rich history The Wadden Sea, which sold over 30,000 copies. He has published non-fiction and novels, as well as a best-selling series of Wadden thrillers. All of Deen’s work has been very well received and translated into several languages.
