Ellen De Vriend (1964) is a writer, journalist, and editor-in-chief. After completing her studies, she worked as a journalist for the Provinciale Zeeuwse Courant and for various magazines and weekly newspapers in Zeeland. After publishing several collections of short stories and travel books, she shifted her focus to writing thrillers. De Vriend’s thriller Lost has sold over 45,000 copies, and her thrillers Silence andThe Inheritance both sold over 30,000 copies.
